There's No Good Song Writer in Northern Region ~Crokodile King(Kasi Survivor)

 Ghanaian Dancehall/Afro Beatz,up and coming act, Krocodile King formally known as Kasi Survivor has stated that the music industry in Northern Ghana, precisely Tamale can’t boost of a single good song writer.

In an exclusive interview with the self acclaimed Dancehall messiah and Intelligent Family signed act who is now based in Accra, on Zaa Kootu with Bra Rashid on Zaa Radio 99.3fm on 9th October, 2020, emphasised his worries about the lack of good song writers in the industry, ready for the international market which he thinks is one of the reasons the industry can’t count number of hits songs nationwide.


The Yomo hitmaker furthermore explained his reasons, that the so called song writers we have may be doing well but none of them can write an international standard song. The creative industry down north can’t boost of any which is not a good direction if the music industry really wants to grow and sell the music to the outside world.

He concluded by saying, that as an artiste you can be good as artiste but not a good song writer and it’s not wrong or a crime to get a writer to be writing your songs. Which is even more professional. He also said that Commercially minded artistes recruit professional song writers for their songs
