Election 2020, NPP Will loose this six regions~ Kusi Boafu Reveals

The much anticipated 2020 general elections keeps approaching as days past. With a little over a month, Ghanaians are preparing to storm their respective polling stations to exercise their franchise on their preferred Presidential and parliamentary candidates who will lead the nation for another 4 years.



Major political campaigns and rallies have already began as each party fights to defeat the other. The opinions of top and influential public figures and political bigwigs play an important role in the electorates’ decision making. It sometimes come as a surprise when members within groups predicts doom or defeat for their own organisation and sometimes it serves as a warning sign to the particular party to step up efforts.



Earlier today in an interview on Kumasi based Wontumi TV, an NPP appointee Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, who was appointed by President Akuffo Addo to head the Public Sector Reforms as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He has predicted that the NPP will lose in 6 regions but respectably. He indicated that the party’s loss in these regions will not be like how the NDC lost woefully to the the NPP during the 2016 elections.


He stated categorically that, it would be difficult for the NPP to pull massive votes in the Volta, Upper West, Upper East, Savannah, Northern and Northeast regions. He emphasized that even if the NPP loses in these 6 regions, it will be a respectable margin.
