The End of NPP :See How Akuffo Addo Has Failed Massively &Doesn't Deserve A Second Chance

Let’s not forget that prior to the 2016 general elections, Akuffo Addo, then flagbearer of the NPP begged Ghanaians to try him and see.
He made a lot of promises to Ghanaians and is like majority of those promises were just lofty words and haven’t reflected on the grounds.Despite the implementation of the free S.H.S that seems to be the president’s big achievments so far, he has still failed the Ghanaian people in many aspects.

Let’s analyze some of the failures of President Akuffo Addo.

CORRUPTION:

Before Ghanaians voted for president Akuffo Addo in 2016, he was a man that priced himself as someone who is an angel and doesn’t tolerate corruption at all.
What are we seeing today, this Nana Addo administration is comfortably swimming in corruption. A whole lot of scandals that are happening right under the watch of Akuffo Addo. Notable among them are the BOST Scandal. A Gh15m contaminated fuel scandal; where Ghana lost about Gh15 million in revenue following moves by the Bulk oil storage and Transportation company limited (BOST) to sell contaminated fuel to non-existing fuel companies.

Again is the Ministry of trade/presidency cash for seat Saga, where one have to pay bribe before having access to the president.
Also the Kroll Scandal that involves the Senior minister. It is clear to everyone that the Auditor General is investigating this case until his forced accumulated leave directive from the president and exactly 24 hours after proceeding on leave the acting Auditor General cleared the senior minister, Osafo Marfo.

This are only a few and there are more, it is clear that the president has failed the fight against corruption.

EXCESSIVE BORROWING:
Prior to 2016 Elections, Akuffo Addo and Dr. Bawumia had criticise then president Mahama’s administration on numerous times on their excessive borrowing.
They promised Ghanaians they were not going to borrow to develop Ghana. According to them, there is excess money in Ghana and no need to borrow. But in 3 years along the line, this Nana Addo administration has doubled Ghana’s total public debt as at 2016 Gh122 billion.
As we speak now according to financial report Ghana’s total public debt hits Gh236 billion as at March ending 2020.
It is interesting to know that Dr. Bawumia the then NPP running mate stated that NDC borrowed Gh39 billion in 8 years.
What has changed today as the NPP used less than four years to borrow Gh114 billion.
This is the reckless borrowing so far within a short period of time time.
It is clear that this Akuffo Addo administration had the greatest resources ever in Ghana but yet nothing to show for it.
JOB LOSS:
Despite the NABCO initiative that seeks to provide temporary jobs for tertiary graduates, the president has streept thousands of Ghanaians off their jobs through the collapsed of more than 300 micro finances and indigenous Banks. Thousands of Ghanaians lost their daily livelihood due to the collapsed of these banks by Government. This was contrary to the promised Nana Addo made to us prior to the 2016 Elections that they were going to set up a financial stabilization council to stabilize the struggling financial sector.
You have manage to Streep thousands of Ghanaians off their permanent job and provided temporary NABCO job initiative to few University graduates and you think you have done anything better.
This is a clear indication of robing Peter to pay Paul.
GALAMSEY:
Akuffo Addo and Dr. Bawumia had criticise Mahama’s administration severely of not doing anything to stop GALAMSEY. They promised to fight and stop GALAMSEY within their first year in office.
What has changed? more than 3 years in office? GALAMSEY is still going on in Ghana freely where water bodies are being destroyed on daily basis.
You don’t need anyone to tell you that Akuffo Addo has failed the fight against GALAMSEY.

INFRASTRUCTURE:
Talking about infrastructure? There is nothing to show. Akuffo Addo promised to build 350 senior high schools across the country almost four years down the line not even a single S.H.S was build.
The same way that he waited for covid 19 to remind him about the importance of Hospitals before telling us he will build 88 district Hospitals and 8 regional Hospitals which he promised to start in July 2020, only for the finance minister to tell us in the mid year budget review that the 88 district Hospitals will be build during their second term, God willing.
At least Mahama have UGMC, the Shai Osudoku district Hospital, The Ga east Hospital, the BoG Hospital, the numerous E-blocks, roads, the Eastern University, International standard markets( KEJATIA and KOTOKURABA market.) This are only but a few.

My point is if NPP tag Mahama as incompetent and he was able do all these projects then the one who had the greatest resources and yet nothing to show for it (Akuffo Addo) is beyond incompetent.
